For millennia, Man has been trying to prove that he is independent of the universe and has the ability to control and dominate it at the cost of destroying his own environment.
Yet, we are the universe. It contains us and we contain it. By destroying it, we destroy ourselves.
These glassworks tell of our fragile and powerful bodies, resembling hills, plants or oceans, containing and reflecting the universe.
This exhibition was a two-person show with Nathalie Rodach. Mourier and Rodach worked in mirror: a dance of two individuals meeting, confronting, listening, and collaborating, Their labors show how all forms of love are creators and generators of life and ecstasy.

Depuis des millénaires, l’homme tente de prouver qu’il est indépendant de l’univers et qu’il a la capacité de le contrôler et de le dominer, au risque de détruire son propre environnement.
Or nous sommes l’univers. Il nous contient et nous le contenons. En le détruisant, nous nous détruisons nous-mêmes.
Les œuvres en verre d’Anne Mourier parlent de nos corps à la fois fragiles et puissants, rappelant les collines, les plantes ou les océans, et englobant l’univers.
Cette exposition était une manifestation commune avec Nathalie Rodach. Mourier et Rodach ont travaillé en miroir. Que pourrions-nous trouver de plus vivant et de plus créatif que la danse de deux êtres qui se rencontrent, se confrontent, s’écoutent, collaborent ensemble ?
Toutes les formes d’amour sont créatrices et génératrices de vie et d’extase.
